What’s your name and where are you from?

I am Dasha, of course, and I am from the Czech Republic..

What prompted you go get into the industry?

When I first arrived in the United States from the Czech Republic my English was not so good, and the only job I could get was as a janitor at a K-Mart in Washington, DC. Desperate to find a better life, a friend and I bought a beat up car and drove to Hollywood, where I became a dancer in a topless bar. I was living in my car on the beach in Santa Monica when I visited an adult video store and began looking at the box covers of the features on display. I noticed Vivid videos had the best attractive covers, so I wrote down the street address of the Vivid office in Van Nuys and drove there the next day to ask for an application. The receptionist took one look at me and called one of her bosses to come out and meet me. And the rest is history.

When did your big break come?

My first Vivid movie, "Broken English," was a best seller. Also, I have been in videos for the Deftones and Madonna, which got me a lot of exposure.

What do your family and friends think of your profession?

hey are very proud of me.

What is the worst thing you’ve experienced in the industry so far?

I haven’t had any bad experiences, though things have been a lot easier for me now that my English has improved.

What is the best thing you’ve experienced in the industry so far?

I knew I had really made it when Playboy selected me for a pictorial of the top adult stars, so that was very exciting.

I would like to retire and travel the world.

Dascha (born Dagmar Kozelková November 21, 1976 in Brno, Czech Republic) is a Czech porn star. She is known for her penchant for female ejaculation. Her stage name is frequently spelled Dascha.
